Rosters of the 7th Infantry Regiment, ca. 1900.

Notebooks contain two types of company rosters: (1) Companies A-E and G-I lists include veteran's name, rank and, occasionally, residence; veteran's Grand Army of the Republic post; and postwar death date; (2) Companies E-I and K lists include veteran's name; rank; muster-out, death, or discharge dates; and occasionally, postwar death date. Also included is a 7th Infantry enrollment chart; death statistics and type; and company discharges. Rosters were prepared by Major Edward S. Johnson, Lincoln Tomb custodian and a 7th Infantry Regiment veteran.
